Meet The Coach
Meet Sophee
Like you, I did all the right things.
I invested in my education at a young age. I worked hard, made sacrifices and pushed myself forward in school and beyond.
But in a society whose measurements for success are so loud, I struggled to hear what I wanted for myself on a professional and personal level. So after 5 years working towards some unidentifiable metric – I found myself burnt out, miserable, frustrated and unfulfilled.
I felt my system had failed me.
When we are young and impressionable, we easily absorb the ideas and limitations of those we surround ourselves with – from family members to teachers, to school counselors and therapists.
You can’t be an artist, they don’t make money. It will cost too much to go through med school. You don’t have it in you to be an engineer.
So somewhere along the way, our curiosity for life is buried under the voices of the people we look up to, the people we surround ourselves with. And then one day, when you’re busy doing the right things, you realize you aren’t doing anything meaningful. You don’t care about what you do. You feel disconnected from your purpose, and you want something more.
That doesn’t mean you’ve chosen the wrong career. It doesn’t mean you chose the wrong field. What it does mean is – it’s time for a change.
